While fingerprint systems have so far mainly been used for verification purposes, the new INTUS FP fingerprint terminal is excellently suited for the verification as well as identification of persons. Fingerprint identification eliminates the time-intensive and thus costly management of company ID cards. It provides a convenient way for employees to register their attendance times or to open doors without having to carry an ID card with them at all times. The new INTUS FP Fingerprint terminal supports up to 4,000 users. Processing based on a new sensor evaluation unit is clearly faster than with the terminal's predecessor model.
