PCS, a leading manufacturer of data acquisition equipment for time management, access control and production data acquisition, completed another successful financial year on 30 June 2006. The intake of new orders rose by 8% to EUR 11.2 million as compared to the previous year, while total sales revenues maintainted the previous year's level of approx. EUR 11 million.
The INTUS ACM4 and INTUS ACM8 access managers with their integrated security package were particularly sought after in the preceeding 12 months. Likewise, the INTUS 3450 time & attendance recording terminal - winner of the iF Design Award - and the innovative INTUS FP fingerprint terminal were in high demand. The INTUS FP now offers two to three times its previous performance at the same price. In the production data acquisition segment, PCS was pleased to win a lot of new business for its INTUS 6700 series industrial PC and INTUS 3600 PDA terminal newly launched at CeBIT 2006.
As a special challenge during the past financial year, PCS brought its entire INTUS product range in line with the RoHS guidelines. PCS fully advocates these envionmental protection measures and now manufacturers all its new models free of hazardous substances.
For the new financial year that started on 1 July, PCS with its staff of 70 is confident to achieve further growth in sales revenues and incoming business.
