PCS increases sales by 10% to EUR 11.4 million in FY 2007/08.
PCS, a leading German manufacturer of data acquisition equipment for time management, access control, video monitoring and production data acquisition, completed another successful financial year on 30 June 2008. Total sales revenues rose by 10% to EUR 11.4 million as compared to the previous year. Likewise, new order intake grew to approx. EUR 11.6 million, significantly surpassing the previous year’s level.
A major factor contributing to this remarkable success was the new INTUS 5300 terminal family. Which, after having been introduced at the beginning of the financial year, had already achieved a revenue contribution equivalent to almost 1,000 sold units by its end. The security systems range comprising access readers, access control managers and video monitoring also grew above average: Since July 2007, when PCS acquired an interest in video technology manufacturer Convision Systems GmbH, revenues from video solutions have increased by more than 100%.
For the new financial year which started on 1 July, PCS with its staff of 75 is confident to achieve further growth in sales revenues and incoming business.
