Mobility is the trend of our time, and this is also true for the collection of data. INTUS COM Mobile is a new solution by PCS for sales and service representatives. It enables them to collect order times or project times directly on site using mobile devices and transfer the collected data via UMTS,GPRS, WLAN or Bluetooth to a central location. The mobile devices are fully integrated with the stationary infrastructure of an INTUS solution.

INTUS COM Mobile manages the mobile devices in the field and ensures secure data transmission. The collected data will not be lost even if the connection is interrupted. Communications between the mobile device and the central location is hendled on TCP/IP basis by means of an XML-based protocol. AES data encryption ensures the confidentiality of the transmission. Likewise, all the personal data are AES encrypted in the mobile terminal. The INTUS COM Mobile user interface can be customized with regard to the function key control, function key layout and background design. INTUS COM Mobile is compatible with mobile devices such as PDA's or smartphones under Windows CE or Windows Mobile 5.0. The software spports up to 160 mobile terminals.
