The new terminal INTUS 3450 ensures data security: it provides a full-featured security package including data encryption to the connected access readers and host as well as a three-tier hierarchical password concept. By default, the terminal is now equipped with 1 MB of RAM, battery backed for data, and provides a 10/100Base T Interface.

The INTUS 3450 will be available in three versions:

• INTUS 3450-time: a value-for-money pure Ethernet time & attendance recording terminal without any digital inputs/outputs.


• INTUS 3450-timeplus: equipped with 2 digital inputs and 1 output and a LBus interface to be used for access control via a single remote reader. This model will replace the INTUS 3200.


• INTUS 3450: a versatile multipurpose terminal for complex time management and access control, providing two slots for serial interfaces. This model will replace the INTUS 3300 and the earlier INTUS 3400 terminal.

The three versions of INTUS 3450 share one thing in common: the full-featured security package to ensure the customer's data security.
