Why does AEO certification make sense?
International companies increasingly expect their suppliers to be part of a reliable, integrated international delivery network ("supply chain"). The aim is to safeguard the supply chain from the manufacturer of a product to the end consumer.
What must be done to achieve this?
There are various conditions for certification, such as previous compliance with customs and tax regulations, a satisfactory accounting system, verifiable solvency and appropriate security standards. For the latter point, the security systems for the company's cargo packaging sector will be examined.
Why was PCS certified?
PCS Systemtechnik has successfully passed the AEO certification procedure and thus achieved the status of "Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)". PCS ensures this:
- that air freight is packaged under strict security measures and
- can pass through customs more quickly.
AEO certification is an important measure for the secure transport of goods and fast delivery of PCS hardware. PCS proves to be a reliable and trustworthy business partner with the status of "Authorised Economic Operator".
