Thermal imaging camera directly in the separation system takes over the temperature scanning.
The Galaxy Gate access gate from Wanzl is equipped with a thermal imaging camera in addition to the RFID access reader. The intelligent camera analyses the measured body temperature within seconds and compares it with the normal range. If it deviates by at least 0.5°C from the defined standard range, no access clearance is granted. Even persons with otherwise valid access authorisations will then not be granted access. This temperature screening runs completely automatically at the separation system - additional personnel are not necessary.
Checking the mask obligation and hand disinfection.
Compliance with the mask obligation can also be checked via the camera: The fully automatic image analysis detects a missing mouth-nose protection and raises an alarm. Only when a person is wearing a mask can the access control be operated and the gate's swivel arms open. Another way to use the Wanzl Galaxy Gate to maintain hygiene standards is to combine it with a hand disinfection station. In this case, passing through the gate is only possible if the disinfection station has been activated first. In this way, you ensure that all persons entering the company comply with the applicable hygiene regulations.
The combination of hygiene measures with access control is also possible as a retrofit for existing separation systems.
