Despite its small housing size, the access reader is equipped with future-proof technology and proves its innovative product features with RFID, BlueTooth connection to smartphones and encrypted data transmission. This design award proves that PCS Systemtechnik is one of the leading German suppliers for building security and data acquisition.
INTUS 700slim - innovative technology in a compact housing.
Despite its compact dimensions, the technical equipment is maximized: an integrated RFID reader reads employee ID cards, and an additional keyboard enables two-factor authentication with a numerical code and card for security. The PIN keypad is optionally backlit to make it easier to operate in the dark, while the tactile membrane keypad makes it easier for visually impaired employees to use. Sealed with synthetic resin, the reader is suitable for outdoor use up to protection class IP68. The INTUS 700slim communicates with its environment in a variety of ways: via the standard RFID methods Mifare and Legic with access cards, via Bluetooth BLE with smartphones and via LBus with the higher-level access control system. The encrypted protocol used for communication with the higher-level system prevents eavesdropping.
