Up to now, the smart bank has relied on the Legic prime RFID method for access control. As security requirements have risen, the FinTech Group is planning to switch to the tap-proof and crypto-encrypted read technology of the newer RFID generation.
Multi-ISO readers reading Legic and Mifare ID cards.
To change to the new Mifare DESFire standard, PCS initially had to solve the problem that the access readers would not only be used by FinTech but also by other tenants in the building. The solution: PCS Legic readers with multi-ISO firmware that can be set to different reading methods so that they are capable of reading both Legic prime and Mifare DESFire ID cards.Highly secure biometrics protecting the data center.
For the critical protection of the data center, the FinTech Group has deployed innovative palm vein authentication from PCS. The biometric INTUS 1600PS access reader makes sure that only registered and verified persons are admitted to the data center.Mechatronic door terminals supplementing the online system.
Certain zones within the FinTech administration area are only accessible for certain groups because of compliance regulations. The corresponding office doors are secured by INTUS PegaSys door terminals.
