New INTUS 5320 terminal supports cloud-based time and attendance recording.
By popular demand, PCS is relaunching its highly successful classic INTUS 5300 time and attendance recording terminal with its distinctive tilted display. The new edition, marketed as INTUS 5320, offers value-added features including faster electronics and extended memory capacity. INTUS 5320FP, the biometric variant, convinces with a new fingerprint sensor significantly improving detection rates.
From spring 2019, the terminals of the INTUS 5320 series will support cloud connectivity for customers opting for a software as a service time management solution. PCS will for the first time present the new terminal series to the public at the Messe Personal Swiss (2-3 April 2019, Zurich, Switzerland, Hall 5, Stand D.04) and at the Zukunft Personal Süd (9-10 April 2019, Messe Stuttgart, Germany, Hall 1, Stand C.07).
INTUS 5320 features more powerful electronics and encrypted data transmission.
For the relaunch, PCS has equipped the new INTUS 5320 with a more powerful CPU to allow faster download and provisioning of required data such as employee master records. Also, the terminal’s RAM was expanded to provide additional capacity for connecting offline components. The INTUS 5320 time and attendance recording terminal additionally uses the https protocol (HTTP/2 with TLS 1.2) to further protect data transmission.
Downward compatibility for investment protection.
The new variant is downward compatible, an important benefit for existing customers using the previous model INTUS 5300. Hardware features such as the shape of the terminal’s housing, its dimensions, display and membrane keyboard have remained the same. The same is true for the parameterization and programming of the device. This means that the INTUS 5320 can seamlessly be integrated into existing customer installations as a replacement terminal.
