PCS closes financial year with stable growth and focus on networked security solutions.

PCS Systemtechnik GmbH concluded its financial year ending on 30 June 2018 with total revenues of EUR 20.3 million. The specialized provider of security technology and data collection solutions was able to further increase its earnings and to surpass the 20 million mark in revenues. As the project volume grew, the number of staff was also further increased and now comprises 125 employees.

PCS Chief Executive Walter Elsner was pleased with the results and looks to the future with confidence: “Security is a growth market since there is a greater need for security. Converging solutions which integrate access control, video as well as other disciplines are in demand, with costs alone already making for a convincing business case. PCS is still seeing a lot of growth potential here in project business.”

Particularly large customer projects implemented during the past financial year.
A number of lighthouse projects building on the capabilities and support of the entire company have leveraged PCS’s expertise and contributed to growth. These large-scale projects primarily focused on networked security solutions such as integrated pedestrian and vehicle access control, elevator control, offline access control, time and attendance recording, card management and video surveillance. CEO Walter Elsner emphasizes that PCS is excellently positioned and, in addition to providing advanced data collection hardware, will increasingly focus on project services in the next financial year as a solution partner: “PCS offers customers and partners real added value in project implementation. We accompany our customers through all the stages of their projects, from preliminary consulting, site inspection and network analysis to project management, installation and preventive management of the INTUS hardware.”
