There are many vendors of RFID identification media on the market, and product quality varies greatly. In particular inexpensive cards from Asia often cause problems. But even high-quality cards or tags may have built-in antennas of a design that will not reliably function with certain types of reader. If the transmitting antenna in the terminal and the receiving antenna in the card/tag do not match, malfunctions may occur.
PCS therefore offers a free test to check in advance if your RFID cards are readable. We strongly recommend that our customers take advantage of this free ID card test before they use new transponders in conjunction with our INTUS devices. Don't buy untested transponders – it’s an unnecessary risk!
