PCS offers a variety of RFID readers for surface and flush mounting to make sure that you will find exactly the device that meets all your requirements. The portfolio ranges from entry-level reader to the perfectly designed INTUS 620 equipped for a high level of security and the readers of our INTUS 700 family.
As a contactless proximity identification system, the INTUS RFID readers interface to the PCS Access Control Managers (INTUS ACM) and all INTUS terminals supporting the LBus protocol.
For ease of use, the INTUS RFID readers are equipped with colored LEDs and acoustic signals.

- Galvanically isolated RS485 interface.
- Up to 1.200 m cable length from reader to Access Control Manager.
INTUS 700
INTUS 700 family is available with standard reading methods Mifare and Legic (with or without integrated PIN keypad).
- Vandalism protection: Tamper contact, rugged zinc die-cast housing combined with thick Xensation glass.
- RFID access control with highest security level through Mifare DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3 and LEGIC advant.
- Variants “Steel” (robust), “Panel” (installation in metal environments) and “Slim” (compact).
INTUS 620
RFID access reader for low-wear proximity card reading in a small and compact housing.
- Ergonomic access reader which discreetly blends in with a building’s architecture.
- Highest security level through Mifare DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3 and LEGIC advant.
