Please pay attention to the following instructions when preparing resp. providing your printing data:

We need your digital data on a scale of 1:1. In general, we accept pdf-files (created with Adobe Acrobat Distiller version 4.05 an higher), as well as tiff, eps, ps and jpg (high-quality 100%). If processing resp. adjusting the provided printing data may be necessary, this effort will be charged per started 15 minutes.

Other data formats are only accepted subject to prior consultation.

Open data - Corel Draw, Illustrator, InDesign...
If you work with a vector-orientated graphical software such as Corel Draw or Illustrator, you should send us vector-data. Please do not convert them into pixel-pictures! The texts should be converted into paths/curves. Open data are accepted in: Corel Draw, Corel Photo-Paint, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop (only based on Windows).

Data transfer
We accept your data: On CD/DVD, USB memory stick or by email (up to 10 MB). In case of higher data volumes, you can also transfer the data via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Therefore, please contact your respective contact person.

Printing methods
The following printing methods can be used:

  • Offset (euroscale, special colours)
  • Screen printing (metallic colours)
  • Digital print - offset (CMYK-mode)
  • Dye-sublimation print / Re-Transfer (CMYK-mode)
  • 4c-halftone printing (CMYK-mode)

To achieve special effects, the mentioned printing methods can be combined.

HKS- and Pantone colours constitute proper, closed system, which allow only a limited compatibility  with the 4c-print (CMYK-mode). Only an approximation to the respective colour is possible, which succeeds better or worse - depending on the desired colour. Therefore, a reproduction with the colour value in CMYK-mode is only possible to a certain extent!

You have to weave your pictures into as a tiff-, jpg- or eps-file . The definition should be at least 600 dpi (colour / black and white) resp. 1200 dpi (line scans) in case of a representation size of 100 %. Please don't save any ICC-profiles.

To avoid problems with fonts, please convert fonts into curves or paths or integrate them into the used pdf. TrueType- fonts need to be generally converted into curves or paths. Please send us open files and use only Postscript-fonts which you also need to provide us with the printing data. We recommend to avoid using optional font modifications such as bold, italic, shaded etc., as these could cause irregularities in the print.

Trimming and final format
Edge-to-edge backgrounds and layout elements which cover the complete format (85,6 mm x 54 mm), need to project 1,0 mm into the trimming to balance possible cutting tolerances.

So the trimming format need to be created in the format 87,6 mm x 56 mm (all-around 1mm additionally). Please avoid small margins (smaller than 2 mm) and pictures or texts which are placed too close to the edge because of the already mentioned cutting tolerances. We recommend a distance of at least 4 mm.

Printings can only be accepted as colour-binding, when they are issued by MADA. In general, this applies for printings, which were issued from another than the final format (pdf). We gladly issue a proof for you before effecting the order.

Complaints due to the transfer of incorrect printing data will not be accepted.
