PCS and design: How it started.
Since 1988, design has been part of the company philosophy at PCS. It starts with the design of the INTUS 1000 and 2000, a terminal concept for time recording, PDA and MDA. The renowned and internationally known Alexander Neumeister von Neumeister Design Munich was recruited as designer, a classic industrial designer with outstanding design creations such as ICE, Transrapid or the Japanese Shinkanzen 500.
The cooperation was successful for more than a decade and led to the products INTUS 1000, 2000, 2100, 2200, 2400, 2600, 3000, 3100, 1600, etc. In 2001, the previous design philosophy was handed over to a spin-off of Neumeister-Design, the company ergon3 Munich. Despite the generational change to Thomas Detemple, a high degree of design continuity was guaranteed - a special stroke of luck.
