EuGH judgement on working time: PCS recommends electronic terminals supplemented with mobile time recording.

Following the EuGH judgement of 14.05.2019 on mandatory time recording, PCS recommends the introduction of electronic time recording: This modern variant of the former time clock creates transparency regarding hours worked, supports HR in wage and salary accounting and enables flexible working hours. Current time recording terminals provide employees and companies with exact personnel data and working time balances as the basis for dynamic flexitime regulation.

The RFID tags for time recording also create added value through smart applications such as follow-me printing, access solutions and canteen billing. Employees in the field simply use their smartphone or web browser for time recording.

PCS welcomes EuGH judgment as the right step.
The European Court of Justice demands the recording of all working hours. With regard to the health of employees, the EuGH strengthens the basic right of employees to comply with maximum working hours and daily and weekly rest periods. PCS Systemtechnik welcomes this groundbreaking ruling on employee protection. As one of the leading manufacturers of time recording terminals and with 40 years of expertise, PCS sees numerous advantages in the use of a time recording system.

Advantages of time recording for both employees and employers.
The daily time entries initially provide transparency and documentation of the time worked. If a flexitime regulation is implemented for this purpose, very flexible employment models can be implemented. In the sense of Work 4.0, fine-tuned personnel deployment schedules are realized in this way, which cushion order peaks with overtime, while overtime is reduced in quieter times. Flexible working hours accommodate employees even in phases of private commitment, while entrepreneurs appreciate the better utilization of personnel.

Modern INTUS time recording terminals with RFID and touch are more than just a "time clock 4.0".
The former "time clocks" have had their day. Working hours are now booked at multifunctional RFID time recording terminals. Current time recording terminals such as the INTUS 5600 convince in direct employee communication via operation via touch screen, colour display and loudspeaker. Instead of a time card, an RFID card is used for booking. These employee ID cards are the linchpin of corporate organization: they combine time recording with payment in the canteen or with access management. They open employee lockers or authorize the printer for follow-me printing. If the card is used for corporate security, for example, daily access rights can be written from the time recording terminal to the badge directly during time booking.

Field service and home office use mobile time recording via INTUS FTC.
Employees in the home office or field service also take part in time recording: with the INTUS FTC mobile time recording system, bookings can be made via smartphone, telephone or web browser. This solution eliminates the need for manual lists or corrections. The mobile time data is forwarded to the time management system so that stationary and mobile time recording systems can be easily connected.

More than 100 software and system house partners from PCS offer workforce management and personnel resource planning.
As a manufacturer of time recording terminals, PCS Systemtechnik cooperates with more than 100 software and system houses. These HR specialists offer a broad portfolio for all industries and company sizes and implement workforce management, personnel deployment planning and working time recording in line with the EuGH judgment.
