INTUS 400 for door intercom systems
Door communication meets RFID door access control
Door communication systems are the first point of contact in a company. PCS supplies built-in readers suitable for the communication pillars from Baudisch, Behnke, Elcom, Gira, RittoPortier and Siedle. The INTUS 400 built-in readers combine access control directly with the intercom systems, creating a holistic approach.
By using the mounting frame for access control, space requirements are reduced, cabling is simplified and installation and maintenance costs are significantly reduced. The compact, integrated door opener blends in unobtrusively and enables secure access with a discreet appearance.

The access reader with protection class IP40 is designed for installation in door communication readers from Baudisch, Behnke, Elcom or RittoPortier.
Thanks to three-colour LEDs and an integrated buzzer, access attempts are clearly signalled. This improves orientation - especially in environments with high visitor numbers or few staff. The built-in tamper contact provides reliable protection against tampering attempts.
For optimum use, the reader is optionally available with an illuminated capacitive touch keypad. Ideal for inclusive use.
Multi-ISO technology enables the parallel use of different RFID card technologies in one system. LEGIC and MIFARE cards can be used flexibly so that mixed access rights are supported - ideal for versatile applications in RFID door access.
Multifactor authentication can be used for greater security in access control. Access is only granted after successful verification of two independent procedures, e.g. PIN code entry and RFID tag.
Instead of an RFID tag or card, a smartphone can also be used as a virtual company ID card for the INTUS 400.
