In modern buildings, security systems are best when you hardly notice them. The INTUS 410 stands for this kind of reduction: the INTUS RFID reader can be integrated into standard frames of well-known switch programs—functionally present but visually discreet. The technology stays where it belongs: in the background.
As a card reader for over 30 established switch programs, the INTUS 410 becomes part of the electrical installation, making it an excellent fit for a building’s design concept.
With defined installation dimensions and standardized connectivity to the INTUS access control managers, the access reader becomes an important part of the security system. This creates an access solution that adapts to the building—not the other way around. Visually discreet, technically state of the art, and suitable for all types of modern architecture, from administrative buildings to design-oriented hotel lobbies.

The INTUS 410 with protection class IP40 is optimized for flush mounting in branded switch programs such as Busch-Jaeger, Berker, Elso, Jung, Gira, Merten, Kopp, Popp, or PEHA. Simply install the access reader directly into the switch box.
Access attempts are clearly indicated by three-color LEDs and an integrated buzzer. This provides better orientation—especially in high-traffic areas or when staffing levels are low. An integrated tamper switch offers effective protection against manipulation.
LED and acoustic signals indicate every access attempt. A tamper switch detects manipulation and provides additional protection for the access point.

The INTUS 410 is technically state of the art and supports secure and modern RFID technologies such as MIFARE® or LEGIC® for contactless, fast, and convenient access.
To increase security in access control, multi-factor authentication can be used. Access is only granted if two independent credentials are successfully verified - for example, a combination of PIN entry and an RFID transponder.
The access reader is technically up to date and also enables the use of smartphones as virtual ID credentials. No more forgetting RFID tags or cards — the smartphone is usually close at hand.
