Wireless mechatronic access control for unwired doors – easy to retrofit, secure, reliable
Not all doors are suitable for networked access control. Metal doors, glass doors, or doors in remote outdoor areas are difficult to wire. However, since access control is still required in such cases, finding a solution can be challenging. The answer lies in a mechatronic locking system that can be integrated directly into the door handle or lever – so-called door terminals and digital locking cylinders. These mechatronic locking systems are battery-powered and can therefore be retrofitted. They can be used with the same RFID credentials as the wired access control systems and seamlessly integrated into electronic access control via NoC (Network on Card) or OSS. Thanks to Bluetooth technology, real-time connectivity is even possible.
