The digital ID can be sent via email to newly authorized individuals, without the need for a physical handover. Each ID is transmitted via a unique QR code link, which must be confirmed with a PIN code. After activation, the ID can be used even without an internet connection.
The smartphone app communicates via Bluetooth with the latest INTUS hardware – energy-efficient and secure. Most smartphones are compatible with ID.mobile. Note: Once downloaded, the virtual ID is bound to the respective device.
Access control via the ID.mobile app offers a security level comparable to modern RFID technologies such as MIFARE DESFire and LEGIC advant. The authorization is downloaded in an encrypted container. Only a configured INTUS reader can access it. Even if the smartphone is lost, it does not pose a security risk.
